Grape exports have achieved impressive performances

Phenomenal results for Australian grapes exports that have exceeded 100 000 tonnes for the first time.

 

 

ATGA (Australian Table Grape Association) announces a total of 108 594 tonnes for the grape export season at the end of May 2016. The biggest monthly shipment volume was achieved in April with 32 587 tonnes.

 

 

Exports to Japan (the fourth largest market for Australian grapes) has increased by 406% compared to last year. The combined volumes to China (the first market) and Hong Kong achieved an increase of 513% compared to the previous year. Indonesia (the second market) recorded an increase of 34% at the end of April.
