The JULIET® apple is produced in France and exported to many countries (Europe, North America, Southeast Asia)
The only apple in the world produced exclusively in organic farming, the JULIET® apple and its numerous products are present at BIOFACH: Hall 1 / 1-137.
French production, the JULIET® apple is grown by about 110 producers, on nearly 350 hectares (470 hectares planned in 2020) in several regions of the country. In 2016 the volume collected totaled 8,500 tons and 11,000 tons are expected in 2018. The JULIET® apple has exceptional qualities:
- natural resistance to scab and powdery mildew (main diseases of apple trees),
- rustic aspect (slightly flattened fruit shape),
- crisp and fragrant,
- sweet flavor,
- very juicy,
- excellent preservation.
JULIET® is available in bulk, in 1 or 2 row trays. But also in the form of juice (100% pure apple juice without dyes, no preservatives and no added sugars), sparkling (non alcoholic), cider, Compotes (mashed apples gourd 90gr), jams.
