Prices for champignons remain high within Ukrainian inside market

According to the latest data, prices for champignons remain quite high (20 – 22 UAH kg) and keeps growing even when Easter holidays are over.

This situation has appeared to be unexpected by mushrooms producers and suppliers. As specialists forecasts have predicted slump in demand of local consumers after holidays. This kind of market changes create favorable conditions for producers of champignons of high quality and big size.

According to agricultural specialists, Ukrainian mushrooms producers are not able to provide good products as most of local champignons are contaminated with bacteria. This factor affects the price level.
