Beginning of strawberry production in Kazakhstan

The 1st strawberries freshly harvested in Kazakhstan by GFK.

GFK (Greenhouse Technologies of Kazakhstan Ltd) one of the main producers of vegetables in greenhouses , has just completed its first strawberry harvest. For this production test , seedlings were selected and imported from the Netherlands ( varieties : Everest , Vilma Rima , Florina , Evi 2).

This strawberry production complements the "ordinary" production that the company operates in a greenhouse complex that spans 4.6 hectares , producing tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce and radishes.
