New IKEA series for "indoor" crops

IKEA , the Swedish seller of furniture and accessories , will launch a new series for hydroponics at home.

The Krydda / Växer series will help cultivate herbs and green vegetables in the kitchen or living room . Based on the hydroponic technology to grow crops in small spaces with only light and water ( no soil ).

This system allows to grow all year and was developed with the help of Swedish scientists from the University of Agricultural Sciences .The kit contains seeds , a starting container and a platform with a light. Expected availability in stores April or May depending on the country .
