A new season of Moroccan frozen strawberries deliveries to EU market started last week of March. First transports of Moroccan strawberries were sold 1,30 EUR/kg comparing to 0,95EUR/kg in previous season. In current season Moroccan exporters plan to sell more strawberries and at higher prices. Last year Morocco delivered to EU market 21,1 tons of frozen strawberries.
Comparing Polish frozen strawberry with Moroccan ones, polish fruits are more expensive since they cost 1,40 EUR/kg on EU market. In opinion of European importers, there is shortage of frozen strawberries on EU market and buyers already wait for Polish new crops.
