Tesco asks its customers to get dressed
FJ
One must come suitably dressed to Tesco supermarket in Tiverton, Devon.
The supermarket demands that its customers wear t-shirts and sneakers in the store. This new regulation is a response to complaints from other customers. Some were shocked to see a customers half-naked, very lightly dressed or barefoot. Others invoked hygiene problems especially in fresh departments, if people were leaning in a sweat on fruits, salad or bread.
This new regulation intervenes after a heat wave that struck the region. The warm weather has caused population to take very summery and very light outfits, to stock up with materials for barbecue and picnic products.
