AMAZON launches its fresh product delivery service

AMAZON FRESH offers more than 100,000 food products including fresh fruits and vegetables.

Japan is the 3rd country where the AMAZON FRESH service is launched, after the United States and Great Britain.

For a few days AMAZON FRESH is available in 6 districts of Tokyo: Minato, Chiyoda, Chuo, Koto, Sumida and Edogawa. Choice of over 100,000 items, grocery products, gourmet products through cooperation with 27 specialty stores, fresh produce including fruits and vegetables.

Customers can receive the products purchased 4 hours after the order, so for an order before noon delivery can take place from 4pm. An annual subscription as a "Prime member" gives the right to free delivery for an order reaching a certain threshold.
