The different varieties offered by Blue Whale accompany lovers of strawberries throughout the season.
Blue Whale producers have started the season with the Gariguette variety followed Ciflorette, Charlotte. They will then finish the season with Mara des Bois, which has the flavour of wild strawberries.
Blue Whale is a member of the Interprofessional Association of Strawberry Lot-et-Garonne, which develops campaigns and communication tools to educate consumers about the quality of Red Label strawberries.
Blue Whale strawberries are subjected to strict standards
and control at various stages of production and marketing. Analyses takes place on the quality of the product, the right colour, shape and fruit size. Optimal traceability going back to the plot of land takes place, ensuring high quality flavour.
Harvests planned: 280 tons - Gariguette 125 tons - Charlotte, 120 tons - Ciflorette, 40 tons - Mara des Bois, and 250 tons of round strawberries.
