Peru’s grape exports reach $1.55 billion through November

With December data still pending, final results for the 2025 season are expected to confirm whether late-season shipments narrow the year-on-year gap in total export value.
Peru’s table grape exports reached US$1.55 billion in the January–November 2025 period, with shipped volumes totalling 526,423 tonnes, according to a recent report by Agrodata Peru.
Export value was slightly lower than in the same period of 2024, when revenues stood at US$1.59 billion, while volumes declined from 593,827 tonnes last year. The average export price in 2025 edged up to US$2.94 per kg, compared with US$2.68 per kg a year earlier.
November was the strongest month of the year so far, with exports valued at US$557.5 million and volumes of 185,786 tonnes, underlining the seasonal peak of Peru’s grape campaign.
United States remains dominant market
The United States continued to be Peru’s main destination for grapes, with shipments worth US$769.8 million between January and November 2025, up from US$730.8 million in the same period of 2024.
The Netherlands ranked second with exports valued at US$248.2 million, followed by Mexico at US$137.4 million. Other key markets included the United Kingdom (US$73.2 million), Spain (US$58.8 million), Canada (US$57.1 million), Colombia (US$37.8 million) and Hong Kong (US$31.6 million).
Price support offsets lower volumes
Despite lower shipped volumes compared with last year, higher average prices helped limit the decline in export value. Up to November, the average monthly export value stood at US$140.5 million, compared with US$132.6 million in the same period of 2024.
