The Aegean Exporters Association organize on the 25th of August a B2B meeting at the hotel Swissotel Grand Efes Izmir, where exporters in many sectors, including fruits and vegetables and pulses, will meet around 34 buyers from different countries like Afghanistan, India, Tajikistan, Guinea, Ghana, Benin, Comoros Islands and Sri Lanka.
This organization is made by the Turkish Council of Exporters under the coordination of the Ministry of Economy in the context of efforts by the government and exporters to find alternative markets from traditional markets for Turkish products.
These countries are generally net exporters of products in Turkey and the purpose of such meetings is to try to tip the balance on the Turkish side by offering products of interest to consumers in those countries.
Other delegations, Nigeria, Iraq, Cameroon, Ecuador, Kosovo and Malaysia should also participate in the fair, which ends September 4, 2016.
