Landless strawberry production increases

 Many companies such as ROA BIOTECHNOLOGY company marketing hydroponics systems in greenhouses , turnkey , allowing many agricultural areas that are not specialized in the production of strawberry that they can also get a quality product with good added value.

The traditional region of strawberry growers in south- eastern Turkey , Silifke , since 2009 is now making the transition to the outdoor production , to obtain early strawberries , which sell at a good price even on the Turkish domestic market.

This technique also allows to increase the yield by facilitating the fruits gathering and farmers expect a good production for 2015. The varieties used are " Rubygem ", " Festival " and " Fortuna ".
