MD | Butet Ets
‘Quality since 1912’, Butet will celebrate its 100th anniversary this year.
Founded by Mr Butet in 1912, the company was based at Les Halles in Paris. Over the years, Butet was passed on to Mr Périchon, the right arm of Mr Butet and then his son. For many years Butet only sold mushrooms, but with a move to Les Halles in Rungis, it diversified its offer.
Butet now offers a wide range of products: baby vegetables (courgettes, aubergines, carrots ...), old vegetables (parsnips, rutabagas, artichokes ...), salad (mesclun, watercress ... ).
Over the past ten years the company sells seeds exclusively from France and the Netherlands.
