Closer look at F-751 Kiwifruit Quality Meter
The non-destructive NIR technology provides QA personnel and orchardists with a reliable and accurate method of self-assessment for harvest and post-harvest decision making. By bringing immediate results, this technology allows growers to consistently monitor maturity during the growing season, excluding the need for early lab testing.
The new and enhanced F-751 Kiwifruit Quality Meter by Felix Instruments enables kiwifruit growers and packers to estimate the dry matter and Brix in an accurate and non-destructive way, to indicate quality and ripeness utilizing near-infrared (NIR) technology.
Galen George, Application Scientist at Felix Instruments, demonstrated the new version of the F-751 in his latest webinar “Making Light Work of Kiwifruit Maturity Testing” and explained which improvements have been made.
