Eataly World has just passed the first step towards its realization with the approval of the project by the General Meeting of CAAB.
Theme Park Eataly World planned in Bologna begins booting.
The General Meeting of CAAB, the wholesale market of Bologna, approved Eataly World project. This approval is the first step of a project developed for months. Eataly World is foreseen in the precincts of the CAAB, it will use existing facilities at no additional cost for the field. It will be powered 100% with photovoltaic energy systems CAAB (16 million kWh, the largest photovoltaic roof that currently exists in Europe).
The second step is to obtain the funds needed for the realisation. The costs will be shared by all operators, with the concern to maintain low operating costs, perspective of sustainable development and increase in revenues. This project is strategic for the city, for all the Emilia Romagna region but also for the Italian food industry. The park is expected to attract 10 million visitors a year, result the creation of 1,000 direct jobs and 5,000 jobs in related industries.
