Mango exports grew in value by 27%.

As reported by the Agro-Export Management of the Association of Exporters (ADEX), between January and October 2020, supplies of Peruvian mango overseas totaled around 336 million dollars, showing a positive variation of 27 percent compared to the same period of the 2019 ($ 262.967.000).
Fresh mango was the most demanded ($ 217.332.000), followed by frozen ($ 106.796.000), canned ($ 6.455.000) and dried mango ($ 5.279.000).
The United States is the leading buyer of mangos ($ 105.056.000), representing 31 percent of shipments. Another country that stands out for its FOB value is the Netherlands with $ 94.623.000, showing a 28 percent share.
Then there follow South Korea ($ 21.526.000), Canada ($ 20.946.000) and Spain ($ 16.295.000). The United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, Chile and Poland made up the top-10. Among these ten countries, Spain and the United Kingdom have reduced their orders.
During the period from January to October 2020, the fruit supplies to Colombia, Taiwan, the Czech Republic, Austria, Albania, Morocco, and Oman were suspended.
The most popular Peruvian mango varieties are Ataulfo, Edward, Haden, Keitt, and Kent.
