MSC updates key container routes connecting Asia and Europe
The revised service rotations are expected to take effect from late March to early April 2026.
Container shipping company Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has revamped its Asia–Northern Europe service network, aiming to improve connectivity and transit times between the two major trade regions.
According to MSC, the update focuses on strengthening three key services — Griffin, Condor and Silk — which form part of the company’s Asia–Northern Europe trade corridor. The changes are designed to provide more direct connections, better market coverage and more efficient schedules for cargo moving between Asian manufacturing hubs and European ports.
The revised service rotations are expected to take effect from late March to early April 2026, giving shippers additional routing options and improved reliability on one of the world’s busiest container shipping lanes.
MSC said the adjustments are intended to support customers with stronger logistics links between the two regions while maintaining competitive transit times and broader port coverage.
For exporters and importers, including those shipping temperature-controlled cargo such as fresh produce, the changes could help improve supply chain flexibility on the Asia–Europe trade route.
