The biodynamic kiwi at the Fructidor booth
The Azienda Agricola Biodynamic Parlapiano Demetrio will present its kiwis at the Fructidor booth, Hall 23 stand E 4.
The company is located in the plain Pontina at Cisterna di Latina. This area is charaterized by:
- a unique micro climate in Italy ideal for the production of kiwi,
- a fertile soil of volcanic origin, rich in potassium,
- warm temperatures in summer and mild ones in autumn, which allows the kiwifruit harvest at ripeness (ideal for long life).
Kiwi production is totally organic (certified CODEX) and biodynamic (certified Demeter). The activity started in the 80s with the first kiwi plantations by the father Parlapiano. All these years have helped to refine agronomic techniques to best meet the needs of plants in an environment as natural as possible. The productions obtained are high quality, characterized by excellent taste, pleasant, gentle, enhancing the flavor of the kiwifruits. After harvesting, fruits are stored in a controlled atmosphere, packaged and sold, in a format required by the customer. The company works in compliance with HACCP.
