The brand new premises of Gruppo Battaglio in Torino
The Gruppo Battaglio is developping well ! Since few months, they transfered their activities in brand new premisses located between the Inter porto and the wholesale market of Torino.
These new premises are set on a 12.000 m² area, including 10.500 m² dedicated to the packing area and another 1.500 m² for the offices.
The warehouses are well equiped with not less than 14 maturation cells with a 500 tons/week capacity and 8 fridges totalising 5.000 tons. The rest of the warehouses is dedicated to fruit and vegetable handling and equiped with air conditioning for a better produce quality and a better working environment for the staff.
Enlargement of premisses enables a better distribution management for the big buying central of the area.
This also brings a better logistic tool for the overseas and national subsidaries:
- Cosur implanted in Argentina for apples, pears, pomelos and lemons
- Geagri implanted in Emilia Romagna and in Puglia for the products: grapes, pears, citrus.
