CMA CGM will acquire CONTAINERSHIPS, a Finnish company specializing in the intra-European market.
The CMA CGM Group, a global player in maritime transport, has announced the signing of an agreement for the acquisition of container transport and logistical CONTENT. The Finnish company specializes in the intra-European CMA CGM market.
CONTAINERSHIPS is a specialist in short-range mar-Intra-Europe, present in Baltic, Russian, North European, North African and Turkish companies. The company has more than 560 employees and offers a full range of services and logistics solutions (cash, truck, rail). The RED CONTAINERS are complemented by the offer of CMA CGM and its subsidiary MacAndrews in Northern Europe and the Mediterranean.
This acquisition reinforces the CMA CGM Group's development strategy to densify the Group's regional network. The transposition which has been submitted to the approval of the competent authority.
