The SAS Lucas Lemaire undergoes a complete reconstruction

In their ever-lasting effort to meet their clients' specific needs, the potato and onion importer / exporter has decided to build a new site in which they now have a laboratory, and more office space for a bigger team.

As of August 2008, the laboratory is used for the calibration of different produce, along with the detection of main defects and mechanical damage.

Thanks to the laboratory, the Lucas Lemaire team can now put a washability index on potatoes and onions, the company can also find the dry matter content and reduce the sugar and nitrate content of the spud.

In the past several months, the Lucas Lemaire team has gotten bigger as several people have joined Mr. Luc Lemaire, general manager, and Mr. Gérald Lemaire, sales and purchasing manager.

Mrs Charlotte DAVID-BELLOUARD now takes car of the sampling and quality control. Mrs. Catherine VERPOORT oversees all the exports (as she speaks an impressive amount of languages), Mrs Sergine FERRANT takes care of all the invoicing ans ordering, and the administration and accounting is managed by Mrs. Marie-Paule CAZIER.
