Italian supplier offers kiwifruits grown in the soils of Italy, Chile, and Argentina

Jingold is a kiwifruit supplier that protects and guarantees the flavor and excellence of the yellow pulp kiwi, a renowned product appreciated all over the world for its unique taste and nutraceutical properties.

Recently, the Fructidor team had a conversation with Federico Milanese, International Development Manager for Jingold, who shared the latest news and projections for the kiwifruit season.

“We are very satisfied with this season. In terms of volume, it is a little bit lower compared to last year, although the turnover was the same. This means that people are more interested in kiwi, and its value has increased in the last season.”, affirmed the manager.

All year round, Jingold offers green, gold, and red kiwifruit varieties, grown in the soils of Italy, Chile, and Argentina. 

“Our varieties perform very well. Gold varieties are our core business. Our new red kiwi gave us a very good result, and we see that consumers really appreciate it. It will take time to make this one as famous as the gold one, but it will be successful in the future for sure. The green kiwifruit quality was also good. Next season we expect to have up to 30% more volume [than this season] in our Italian site, if there is no frost or other climate issues. Now we are exporting our gold and green kiwis from Chile and Argentina and will continue supplying them until October. Then we’ll start again with the Italian kiwi. We’ll start with the red one in October and then with the gold one in November.”, commented Mr. Milanese. 

Recently, Jingold developed the new types of sustainable packaging, such as a 100% carton packaging that holds up to 500 grams. Besides, the company launched the online sale service in Italy. “We sell kiwis directly to the customers online all over Italy. You make the order and the next day you receive our kiwis.”, stated Federico Milanese.
