Orange on fruit market in the beginning of October 2009

The market of oranges has continued to be tense. Even if deliveries have developed this week, global supply has remained rather moderate.

 

 

Volumes from Argentina have remained quite stable and 20% below the average but those from SAR have increased this week. Demand has continued to activate a bit more thanks to many promotional offers in multiple lines.

 

 

However, prices are having trouble trespassing the psychological barrier of 12 € since some volumes of flexible quality are still available at a level around 10 €.
