International Cherry Symposium to return for Macfrut's 2022 edict

As part of the recent Macfrut 2021, the International Cherry Symposium event took place which brought together a large audience. The event will return for the 2022 edition of Macfrut which will be held at its usual period, in May.

 

Macfrut 2022 will be the cherry capital of the world thanks to the International Cherry Symposium, which will be held from May 2-6. The event was previewed during a session at Macfrut 2021 opened by Renzo Piraccini, President of Macfrut, who said: “Cherries will be the symbolic fruit of Macfrut 2022, which will be back in May. One of the ways forward is to identify high value-added crops such as cherry. "

 

 

In 2022 International Cherry Symposium will constitute several distinct elements:

.a 2-day improvement session in Bertinoro (2-3 May);

.a global symposium on key cherry issues (global market, sustainability, varietal innovation and hedging systems), which will take place at Macfrut in Rimini (May 4)

. an event focused on market trends with the best players in the sector (May 5), as well as guided tours of the leading companies in the sector that will be present at Macfrut (May 5)

.a visit to the main cherry tree producers to get a closer look at product innovations (May 6).

 

The conference scheduled for May 4 in Macfrut 2022 will host experts from the United States, Chile and Europe, including Italy, and will focus on key issues in cherry cultivation. The focus will be on the world market situation.
