Live from Macfrut: The 4th range industry

The 4th range industry plays a more and more large part at the MACFRUT show.

This year, more than 15 companies specialized in processing food were exhibiting. This reveals the development of this line of business in Italy as well as the development of the 5th range with more and more diversified and sophisticated products. 

Lineaverde, company  already specialized in packed lettuce (over 40 different varieties with various sizes) offers this year a range of fresh vegetables soups, a range of sliced fruit, a range of fruit puree (Smoothie). Besides, their latest new product is a potato puree cooked with fresh cream and milk (as home cooking), with no additive neither synthetic product and a best before date limited to 9 days. 

These products are not only sold in the supermarkets, one can also find them in the snack bars and more and more in the fitness centers and slot machines.
