Record number of registrations from Egypt at Macfrut 2010

Macfrut, as the Ancient Rome, combines all the countries of "Mare Nostrum ".
The ancient land of the Pharaohs conquers Macfrut 2010, the international show of the fresh produce industry which will be held in Cesena, Italy, from the 6th to the 8th of October. There was a record number of registrations for the Cesena show from Egypt, the country with the highest number of registrations among the emerging countries that take part in the exhibition.
In particular, the main Egyptian companies producing many varieties of fruit and vegetables will exhibit at Macfrut 2010, for instance companies that produce peas, green beans, cherry tomatoes, garlic, onions and peppers, but also companies specialized in fruit production, that will offer strawberries, grapes, citrus fruits, bananas, pomegranates and much more to international business operators.
In this way, the show confirms once again its importance as one of the main shows of the whole Mediterranean basin for the fruit and vegetable market. Besides Egypt delegations from countries from Sub-Saharan Africa will participate in the show for the first time.
