Fresh Produce Instruments has found a solution for European ripeners

For European ripeners and quality control managers involved in ethylene management in ripening rooms, Fresh Produce Instruments has found the solution: The Easy-Ripe^® Generator and Ethy-Gen^® II Ripening Concentrate.

With Ethy-Gen^® II, a specially formulated liquid, the Easy-Ripe^® Generator easily produces just as much ethylene as required for a target space, reducing the need to store large quantities of compressed gas on site. The portable ethylene generator features an adjustable eight-set output dial that allows adaptation to any requirement or room size for ethylene PPM. Quality control managers can, as needed, move the Easy-Ripe^® Generator from room to room.

Ethy-Gen^® II comes in one-liter bottles, which are conveniently poured into the Easy-Ripe^®Generator's two-liter reservoir. The active ingredient of Ethy-Gen^® II is all-natural, GMO-free, and as manufacturer states is the only "ripening fluid" approved by both the US EPA and the UK HSE Chemicals Regulation (CRD). Manufactured with the purest available ingredients, when the maturing fluid is converted to ethylene, there are no harmful byproducts produced.

The generator features a liquid-indicating cap and tank that holds the Ethy-Gen® II Ripening Concentrate; the spill-proof cap integrates a liquid level indicator, making it easy to know how much Ethy-Gen^®

II is in the tank. Ethylene output is adjustable for multiple room sizes. For larger rooms, additional units easily achieve proper ethylene levels. Users can quickly determine whether a unit is working by checking the operation status green or red indicator light on the side of the generator. A slightly sweet smell is produced from the generator as a result of ethylene production, as well.
