Peru's banana exports on the downward trend

Banana exports by Peru fell from 144,210,264 kilos (January-August 2021) to 121,702,682 kilos in the same period of 2022, reports the Agrodata Peru Portal.

 

 

The value of these supplies decreased from $103,898,237 to $87,212,527.

 

 

The main countries of destination this year continue to be the Netherlands (28%), Panama (22%), the United States (15%), Belgium (9%), Korea (8%), Italy (6%), Germany (4 %), Japan (4%), United Kingdom (3%), Finland (1%) and others.
