Target at 40,000 tons of litchis in 2019

In Vietnam, the province of Hai Duong produces various fruits (lychees, longans, bananas, watermelons ...). Lychee crops cover 10,500 hectares and fruits are exported to several foreign markets.

 

 

 

Lychees are shipped to several foreign markets such as the United States, Australia, the European Union and Japan. For the Chinese market only 2 packaging facilities were approved this year but 115 other sites are waiting for approvals.

 

 

 

With a view to exports to China, Vietnamese professionals are intensifying their efforts to meet the requirements for harvesting, packaging, transportation and labeling. For the province of Hai Duong the goal this year is to reach 40,000 tons of lychees.
