Prices for vegetables and fruits keep falling in Ukraine

According to the latest data prices for fruit and vegetables have dropped to 4% last week in Ukraine. In case we review the whole last month period, we get 45% prices decrease for fruit and vegetables within Ukrainian inside market. Price deflation has  mainly affected potatoes, beet, cabbage, onions and season fruits.

At the same time it has been reported that prices for tomatoes and cucumbers have started to go up. The main reason of the price rise is lack of supply of his kind of vegetables to the Ukrainian market.
