COMPAGNIE FRUITIERE FRANCE is opening a 9th ripening operation with an annual capacity of 12,000 tons of bananas.
With a large national network, COMPAGNIE FRUITIERE FRANCE is expanding and opening a 9th ripening, becoming the network offering the best coverage of the French territory.
Located at the gateway to the market SAINT CHARLES in Perpignan and less than 40km from Port-Vendres, arrival port of bananas, this ripening of more than 2 000m ² accomodates 10 rooms of bananas ripening of last generation Laat). This system is one of the most economical in terms of energy in the current market.
With its photovoltaic roof with a power of 220 Kwc and its proximity to the port thus minimizing the carbon footprint of bananas, it is a true ecological ripening that opens in Perpignan. The annual capacity of the Perpignan ripening plant is 12,000 tons of bananas with a complete range (organic, fair or conventional bananas from Africa in all types of packaging, Ana'dou and Supreme pineapples).
