Increase in lime peel exports in the first two months of 2022

In the first two months of 2022, Peru exported 4,152,096 kilos of lime peel worth $4,044,290. These figures represent an increase from the 2,877,599 kilos exported in the same period of 2021 for $2,571,710, according to a report from the Agrodata portal.

The main destination of these supplies in January and February 2022 was Germany, with placements for $1,712,273 (42% of total domestic shipments). Other destinations: Mexico with $1,092,430, Spain with $1,050,271 and France with $189,316.

It should be noted that in 2021, Peru exported a total of 12,826,649 kilos of lime peel worth $11,882,629.
