The products labeled DOP and IGP, excellence of Italian territories, will be highlighted on the Macfrut 2013.
The show will focus on the DOP and IGP products.
Macfrut has always had the Italian products DOP (Protected Denomination of Origin) and PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) exposed in the pits. This year, the show aims to highlight their specificity and strengthen their influence. Offering visitors an "ideal Giro d'Italia" (an ideal Tour of Italy). Labeled products will be exposed by the operators, highlighted on the stands, available for tasting.
The DOP and IGP products embody a territory and a tradition but also a unique expertise and disciplined production. These products with a strong identity reassure consumers and may prove a major advantage on markets increasingly contested.
