Peruvian fruit exports to the United States set new records

According to data from the Ministry of Foreign Trade, Peruvian fruit exports to the United States increased by 25%. The best performances were blueberries (+ 64%), avocados (+ 30%) and grapes (+ 24%).
The Department of Foreign Trade said that non-traditional Peruvian exports to the United States in the first 10 months of 2019 reached $3,057 million, an increase of 5% from the previous year.
This satisfactory result comes from the good performance of agro-exports and mainly fruit which recorded a growth rate of 25%. The best performances were established by blueberries (+ 64%), avocados (+ 30%) and grapes (+ 24%).
Other significant increases achieved by exports of onions (+ 18%) and asparagus (+ 12%).
