Bonduelle increases its production capacity

With the expansion of its plant in Straelen, the Bonduelle Group confirms its ambitions on the European market of the 4th range.

Opened in 2003, the plant Straelen located in North Rhine Westphalia, is specialized in the production of salads of 4th range. After 7 months of work and an investment of an amount of € 6 million, the plant sees its production capacity from 6 500 to 10 000 tons of salads.

The Straelen plant will produce in 2014 up to 50 million bags of salads per year. Covering an area of ??9000 m2 and employs 200 people. With 5 production lines, it is considered as one of the processing units of the most modern salads in Europe .
