Record export of Turkish olive oil to the United States

 

Although Spain remains the first buyer with $ 10.2 million, the United States became the second largest exporter with $ 9.4 million. Italy and Saudi Arabia, with $ 3.7 million and $ 3.3 million respectively, rank 3rd and 4th.

 

Since EU tariffs have increased sharply for olive oil of Turkish origin, exporters have sought other outlets. Olive oil exports to Saudi Arabia increased by 52% compared to the same period last year, but the United States has the record to increase from $ 876,000 last quarter to more than $ 9 million USD.
