GreenTech Robot Challenge marked the first day of the high tech show at RAI Amsterdam convention center.

4XRobots was the winner of Greentech Robot Challenge, recognized by an expert jury for the high speed transplanting of their 4X Delta Cobot model. Colinda de Beer (Jury Member of the Robot Challenge jury) explains: “Bringing industrial speed into the greenhouse, using cobots without losing the human touch. 4XRobots makes high-speed plant transplanting practical, safe and scalable, turning one of horticulture’s most repetitive tasks into an accessible automation opportunity for growers worldwide.

Bosman Van Zaal with autonomous solutions

In partnership with VDL CropTeq Robotics, BosMan Van Zaal is introducing various autonomous moving concepts for plant pruning, pot handling. “The good thing about those robotics solutions is their integration with our climate and automation solutions, like the regulation of humidity and temperature, greenhouse handling operations” said Arjan Kok, Chief technical officer at Bosman Van Zaal.
