Sweeki kiwis now on the Chinese market

Sweeki is the premium kiwi brand of the Italo-Chilean Origine Group consortium. Sweeki kiwis are now available in China at hundreds of Walmart stores and online.

 

 

 

Chinese consumers can now buy Sweeki kiwis through all Walmart sales channels, 400 stores nationwide, and online sales platforms. Various events will be organized in Walmart stores including distributions and fruit tastings that will allow Chinese consumers to discover the unique flavor of Sweeki kiwis.

 

 

 

Sweeki is the premium kiwi brand of the Origine Group consortium. The name Sweeki is a contraction of the words "sweet" and "kiwi" and sums up the quality standards required. All Sweeki kiwis must have a dry matter content of at least 16% before harvest and meet very strict criteria regarding sweetness, maturity, color and size.

 

 

 

The Sweeki brand was launched by Origine Group in 2015, with the main objective to export to Asian markets. Origine Group is a consortium of 9 companies based in Italy and Chile. Origine Group aims to supply high quality products to the international market, all year round, without interruption. The total annual value of the fruit produced, packaged and marketed by the consortium exceeds  $1.2 billion.
