Fanapi destroyed 23.000 hectares and caused many damages on bananas cultures.
Fanapi swept across the country bringing strong wind and torrential rain that triggered massive flooding in parts of southern Taiwan.
According to Executive Yuan statistics, around 400 manufacturing plants were flooded during the storm, causing industrial losses estimated at between 65.27 million US dollars.
The typhoon struck the region of Hualien causing a lot of damages on 23.470 farmlands hectares. Cultures of bananas, papayas, and guavas are the most damaged.
