French Bonduelle is interested by "France Champignon",mushrooms specialist

Bonduelle, the French vegetable transformer has announced to sart exclusive negociations with Butler Capital Partners in order to take over the France Champignon group.

Based in Saumur ( Maine et Loire) France Champignon is the result of merging between France Champignon and Champijandou in 1997. In 2004, Butler Capital Partners took it over and started a huge modernisation plan, specially in the harvesting houses.

France Champignon produces 130.000 tons of mushrooms (canned, frozen, fresh and deshydrated). The yearly sales reach 212 Millions euros with 1500 employees.
