Leclerc (France) and Rewe (Germany) will create a central common purchase

The French group E.LECLERC and German group REWE announced the creation of a joint procurement agency .

The announcement was made Friday, June 5, 2015 , in a statement, Michel-Edouard Leclerc ( E.Leclerc Chairman ) and Alain Caparros (President of Rewe Group ) discussed " a strategic alliance between the two brands " , which will mainly be based on the supply , without specifying the size.

The two brands have also announced their intention to join their teams on joint strategic projects: development of the organic segment , tourism, imports , energy.
