The merger Bel'Orta and Veiling Borgloon effective from 1 January 2014

Veiling Borgloon joins Bel'Orta, the merger will be effective from 1 January 2014. The new entity will continue to operate under the name Bel'Orta. The merger creates one of the largest producer organizations in Europe, totaling 1,700 members and representing 43% of the Belgian market share  (56% in vegetables and 22% in fruits).

Bel'Orta will operate that way, in addition to existing facilities in Sint-Katelijne-Waver, Zellik, Kampenhout, Kinrooi-Molenbeersel, the main site of Borgloon as well as that of Vise and Ferndown.

Bel'Orta will Offir a "single cash desk" for a full range of products, increased significantly with strawberries, berries, apples and pears.
