Cooperation between Morocco and Israel, particularly in the field of agriculture and agricultural research, is strengthened by an agreement.
An agreement was signed a few weeks ago between the Moroccan National Institute of Agronomy and the Volcani agricultural research center in Israel, which aims to strengthen cooperation, exchange experiences and know-how in the field agriculture and agricultural research.
Several projects concerning water scarcity in agriculture and genetic improvement of tomatoes have been proposed by Moroccan representatives who hope to benefit from Volcani's experience in smart and green agriculture and genetic improvement. The agreement also provides for exchanges of students and researchers between the two countries.
