Increase of 12 % for exports Davao

Davao region in the Philippines recorded an increase of agricultural exports .

PSA (Philippine Statistics Authority ), the Philippine Statistical Service published its export data: Davao region reached $ 595.05 million in the third term, an increase of 12% compared to the previous year.

The banana is the # 1 product in the region, despite a 5% decrease, with 242, $ 91 million . Its most important customers are Japan ($ 93.65 million ), China ($ 62.75 million ) , South Korea ($ 23.51 million ) , the UAE ($ 11.3 million ) and the Iran ( $ 9.4 million).

Pineapple arrives in 3rd position of the most exported products with a total of $ 26.7 million . The most important detinations are Japan ($ 10.51 million ) , South Korea ( $ 3.6 million), the UAE ($ 3.1 million) , Singapore ($ 2.7 million) and China ( $ 2.7 million).
