Unica expands with the arrival of El Grupo

Unica Group, here at the Fruit Attraction trade show, strengthens and expands its product portfolio and commercial potential.

Unica Group, a cooperative formed by Agrieco, Cabasc, Casur, Cohors Ferva, has grown with the addition of El Grupo.

El Grupo SCA has 350 members that cultivate about 500 hectares. Its handling facilities and packing cover 16,000 m2.

With the arrival of El Grupo ACS, Unica Group now has a potential of 160 million kilos of fruits and vegetables, 1,450 hectares and 1,200 producer members. Its portfolio and market potential extends to a wide range of products: tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, cucumbers, eggplant, green beans, melons and watermelons.

Unica Group has made ??important strategic and commercial agreements such as the cooperation agreement with Dutch company ZON and the agreement with the U.S. company General Mills Green Giant Fresh products. Its products are present in many markets such as Germany, France, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Italy and Scandinavia.
