Despite a 25% decline in the production of apples in Val Venosta, fruit quality is considered very good.
Production is down but the quality is very good.
7 members of the cooperatives VI.P, the Association of producers of Val Venosta, harvested 280,000 tons of apples this year. It represents a decrease in the production of about 25% compared to last year but f
ruit quality is very good.
This decline in production is the result of a frost in the spring that destroyed many flowers. This is added to the lower volumes of apples in Europe.
