Supply of domestic pears is decreasing, what is not surprising this time of year and demand for pears remains high.
Supply of domestic pears is decreasing, what is not surprising this time of year and demand for pears remains high. As a result prices of this fruit are increasing however this upward trend is not very strong. Currently, in the central part of Poland the price of good quality pears e.g.
Conference, size 60 + is 2.00 PLN (0.48 euro)/ kg. In the south, such pears are cheaper - about 1.5 PLN (0.36 euro)/kg. The price of Lucas variety was 1.20 – 1.70 PLN (0.29-0.41 euro)/kg depending on the area of Poland.
