"Roja" watermelon of Benihort distributed during the World Cup final

Distributed during half-time,Benihort's watermelon accompanied Roja's triumph.

Benihort, agricultural cooperative of Valencia, realized an original promotion for World cup finale by distributing free of charge more than 800 kilos of watermelons for the fans who assisted to the World cup Finale on big screen installed to Benicarlo.

Slice of "Red Special" watermelon was offered during the half-time and fans were able to appreciate the intense flavour and red color of these fruits.

Begun on July 5th, watermelon season will last till the beginning of September. More than 7 million kilos will be marketed. Watermelons harvest represented 28 % of Benihort production last season.

Benihort exports in France, Germany, Holland, Belgium and Poland.
