New year starts well with export growth

In Pakistan, according to data from the State Bank, exports of plant products, during the first month of the 2019-20 fiscal year, registered an increase in value of 20.25% compared to the same period last year.

 

 

 

According to the national media and according to data from State Bank of Pakistan, vegetable exports reached 314.231 million USD against 261.304 million USD recorded in July 2018.

 

 

 

In July 2019 vegetable exports reached 21.064 million USD against 12.568 million USD in July 2018, an increase of 67.60%. Fruit exports increased from 40.597 million USD in July 2018 to 48.016 million USD in July 2019, an increase of 18.27%.
