Vietnam and China strengthen cooperation

Signature in Hanoi a memorandum of understanding enhanced cooperation in the agricultural sector.

The agriculture ministers of the 2 countries signed a cooperation agreement. This document aims to strengthen bilateral exchanges in technical ( varietal production prevention , machinery manufacturing , research) trade and knowledge (expertise, information).

In 2014 , Chinese companies have invested in 112 projects in the agricultural sector which totaled $ 279 million . In Q1 2015, Vietnam has licensed 21 new Chinese projects for the amount of $ 33 million, mainly in wood processing , animal feed , fruits and vegetables.
